I keep getting letters every month from the local utility wanting to install this stuff. It has a digital radio receiver that gets a signal from the utility. This in turn shuts down your compressor for however long they want. They offer all kinds of gifts if you allow them to come out and install it.
How I really want to leave the country now!

I live in Raleigh, But in apex where i work all the time wiring and starting up hvac units, They already have a city control box at every unit, I have to wire these boxes up to get an inspection approved. Ive seen this in other states also But are easy ways around it.

Every winter we get a good blizzard or two and I keep a kerosene heater on hand just for those occasions.
Not to mention I have a fireplace and I just ordered 3 cords of wood. Fuck them and my thermostat.

He can control my thermostat when he pays for the damn bill... which is not going to happen since he's too busy having me pay for his bill. I guess he is just trying to sample the white debbil's juju, or maybe this is some new magic 'gypshun power.
